Open History to review saved records. Use filters to narrow the list, tap a photo for details, or press and hold a photo to select several records for deletion or Session reassignment.
Review saved records
History contains photos captured through JotCam and any existing images imported into the app.
Pull down on the History list to refresh it when expected records do not immediately appear.
Filter History
Filter controls appear when matching organizational information is available.
Depending on the current view, you can narrow records by:
- Project Profile
- Project
- One or more Sessions
- Project/site label
Use filters together when the same Session name has been reused in several Projects. Always confirm the correct Project before acting on a repeated Session such as “Tower A.”
Open a photo
Tap a photo to open its detail view.
Available actions include:
- Back: return to History
- Share: send the finished JPEG through the device sharing options
- Add/Edit note: change the editable Report Note
- Delete: remove the record from JotCam History
Report Note changes are included in generated Field Report and Photo Log PDFs, but they do not rewrite the Photo Note already burned into the JPEG.
Select multiple photos
- Press and hold one photo.
- Tap additional photos.
- Use Select All if the action should affect every record in the current scope.
- Choose an action from the selection toolbar.
Move photos to another Session
- Select the affected photos.
- Tap Move to session.
- Choose an existing Session or create a new one.
- Confirm the destination belongs to the intended Project.
This is useful when the wrong Session was active during capture or when imported images need to be organized.
Delete records from History
Deleting a record from JotCam History does not delete the finished copy in the device’s photo library or gallery.
This means the image may still exist outside JotCam after its History record is removed.
If the goal is to remove every copy, manage the gallery or photo-library version separately through the device.
Share a finished photo
Open the photo detail screen and tap Share. The device sharing menu can send or save the JPEG through the available destination apps.
Review the image before sharing and avoid sending confidential project information to an unintended destination.
